The POCO X4 Pro 5G is the successor of the POCO X3 Pro but if you are a power user, you might not like the path POCO has chosen with its X4 Pro. POCO X4 Pro 5G Overview
Design & Display
At the first glance, POCO X4 Pro 5G does not look like a successor to the X3 Pro but a whole different line of a device. At the back, we get a huge rectangular area housing the camera module with the POCO logo. While at the front we are treated with a 6.67-inches of 120Hz AMOLED display. It is a full HD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The POCO X4 Pro 5G has IP53 dust and splash protection too.
Performance & Software
Last year’s POCO X3 Pro packed the flagship Snapdragon 860 SoC but things are a bit different this time. POCO X4 Pro 5G is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 695 SoC with Adreno 619 GPU. This is a 6 nm octa-core SoC with 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver CPU cores. Along with this we get 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. This is the same SoC seen in devices like Realme 9 Pro and Vivo T1.
On the software side of things, we are still getting Android 11 out of the box. This is kinda disappointing that OEMs are still shipping devices with Android 11 when we have already started to get developer preview for Android 13. On top of Android 11, we get MIUI 13 for Poco.
Camera
The global variant of POCO X4 Pro 5G houses a triple camera setup at the back with 108 MP, f/1.9 Primary camera, 8 MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with 118˚ field of view. While the last one is a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. The device can capture Full HD videos up to 60 fps from its rear camera setup. While at the front we get a 16 MP, f/2.4 shooter which can record 1080P videos up to 30fps. While the Indian variant has similar specifications except for the main camera here is a 64MP shooter instead of 108MP.
Battery and Other Features
On the battery side of things, we get a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The good part is, the fast charger is provided in the box. Along with that, POCO X4 Pro 5G features a stereo speaker setup, WIFI AC, Bluetooth 5.1, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. We also get a micro-SD card support with the hybrid sim slot.

As of now, Poco X4 Pro 5G has been launched in India, starting at INR.18,999 for the base 6GB/64GB variant and going up to 8GB/128GB for INR.21,999. You do get INR.1000 via HDFC Card as it is an introductory offer. According to us, the expected price of the Poco X4 Pro 5G in Nepal is NPR.40,000 for the base 6/128GB variant.
