Realme 10 Pro Plus
The market for smartphones is getting more interesting day by day. There is even a saying in the market that high-end good phones are getting cheaper and cheap phones are getting better. And it cannot be any further than truth. And in this situation, midrange phones are having a hard time fitting in. But Realme 10 Pro Plus has tried hard to change that.
Realme 10 Pro Plus is a phone that has the looks and feels of a high-end phone. Its shiny back, circular camera design, curved front display, and very lightweight are some things that pull the eye of many people.

Look and Feel
Realme 10 Pro Plus has a plastic back with a cool design called Prism Acceleration Pattern with Nebula Particles. This prism pattern seems to be coming from a triple camera setup from the back which is called Twin-Lens Reflex Camera Design. Even though the back is made up of plastic, it gives a glassy and premium look. It is hard to keep the phone of back clean and it attracts fingerprints all the time working as a fingerprint magnet. To avoid this problem I was using the transparent cover that we can get in the box itself.
Talking about sides, the left side of Realme 10 Pro Plus to totally clean and you will not find any button on that side, on the right side, there is the power button and volume rockers. On the bottom side of the phone, we get the main speaker, USB Type-C, mic, and dual sim tool. And at top of this phone, we get another speaker and another mic for noise cancellation.
Display
This big 6.7-inch screen with AMOLED Curved Vision Display of 120Hz refresh rate is really great to look at. It has a pixel density of 1080 x 2412 which supports 1.07 Billion colors and is HDR10+ certified and can go up to 800 nits brightness. It has 93.65% of the Screen-to-body Ratio making its bezel really thin and almost unnoticeable. Watching videos and movies on this screen is really great.
The viewing angle is really good. Viewing this screen from any angle is great in this phone and we will not see a dark screen. This screen has TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certificate which is really great for the human eye and is very comforting to look at.
Performance
Realme 10 Pro Plus has a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 CPU chip of 6 nanometers which is paired with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU card. It can handle hardcore gaming in the highest graphics settings available and 4K HDR video streaming very easily.
In the Nepali market, a variant of 128 GB storage with 8 GB of RAM is available. It comes with Android 13 out of the box with Realme UI 4.0 skin. It has built-in features such as a screen recorder and QR Scanner so you do not have to download a separate application. But the bloatware in this application is just worse. This phone has too much bloatware and advertisement can be seen all over the system. Bloatware and advertisements found in this phone totally ruin the overall user experience.
While Benchmarking this phone, software such as GeekBench, Antutu, Antutu 3D, and CPU Throttling. In Geek Bench it gave a score of 831 in single-core and a score of 2318 in multicore. in Antutu testing we got an overall score of 4,94,682. And while throttle testing for 15 minutes and the phone was performing really well.
To unlock your Realme 10 Pro Plus we get a pin, pattern, and password as an option along with face unlocks and an in-display fingerprint sensor. We can use face unlock & fingerprint unlocks with a pin, pattern, or password together at once. Fingerprint and face-unlock are really fast and unlock phones from up to about 80° angle.
While using this phone for more than 2 weeks I found no issue while unlocking the phone when there is nothing covering my face. But sometimes, if you are wearing a hoodie or cap phone struggles to recognize your face until you bring it to around 30° angle which means almost straight to your face. But most of the time it behaved like a good boy.
Realme 10 Pro Plus has dual-band WiFi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5.2. It comes with 2 sim slots for the network and there is no place for an SD card inside the phone. The phone comes with a built-in GPS and compass which we can use in navigation. Because it not having SD card reader we had to use an external USB Type-C card reader. But in the case of WiFi and Bluetooth, I did not face any kind of problem with connectivity.
Camera
Realme gives an AI Triple camera setup with Twin-Lens Reflex Camera Design. It has a main camera of 108MP ProLight Camera with f/1.75 aperture. Ultra-wide angle Camera of 8MP with f/2.2 aperture and 4 cm Macro Camera of 2MP with f/2.4 aperture.
This camera has different photography modes. In-camera we get AI enhancement, HDR Mode, and more. Pictures taken in this are good but not great. Photos taken with AI Enhancement turned on have little to no difference but in some cases, there is a little bit of color enhancement that can be seen.
While Taking photos in portate mode, it does a good job of finding the edge of the object we are trying to focus on and smoothly blurs everything behind. Blur density is good and cannot be changed.
It allows 20x zoom in the normal photo mode if you really want to take images in distance but it will be a very grainy image. In 108MP images zoom is not allowed as zoom will reduce the quality of 108MP high-resolution images.
For extra features, Realme 10 Pro Plus comes with pro mode, panorama, night mode, street, macro, slow-mo, movie, and many other modes in the “more” option with beauty filters inside the camera app. You can also directly access google lens from within the camera app.
Videography in the back camera allows us to take video in 4k in 30FPS and 720p & 1080P videos in 60FPS settings. It has video stabilization and works properly but it feels kind of robotic and there is a delay while moving the screen from one view to another looking at how it stables videos.
Now about the front camera, photos, and videos taken from the front camera are really sharp. Beauty filters make too many changes to users’ bodies and faces. Yes, the users can easily control the beauty filter. If you are someone who constantly has to hop on small meetings with clients or the office or talk with your loved ones in video calls too much, this camera will do just fine for you.
Portrait mode taken from a front-facing camera is also good but in some cases camera struggles to find the object edges and separate it from the background.
Battery
Realme 10 Pro Plus has a Lithium Polymer non-removable battery of 5,000 mAh. This battery is really good. 100% charge at the beginning of the day gives you a very good battery backup.
While gaming on this phone battery performance was really good. While playing PUBG Mobile on Smooth Graphics with Extreme Frame Rate (60FPS) non-stop on this phone for 2 hours, the battery was dropping 20% which is 10% per hour so it can be taken as it gives up to 10 hours of non-stop gaming backup on a full charge.
Realme gives an 80W Charging brick inside the box but the phone supports 67W fast charging, and with this fast charging, Realme claims the phone can charge from zero to 50% in just 17 minutes but on our testing, the phone charged from 0% to 50% in just 15min.
