Realme 50i launched in India with UniSoc SoC, Micro USB Port and 8MP Camera Setup

Realme announced the launch of Narzo 50i alongside the Narzo 50A in India on September 24. The device will be available for purchase in the Indian market starting from September 24 along with Narzo 50A. Unlike the Narzo 50A, Narzo 50i is a budget smartphone with basic specifications. Let’s have a glance at what Realme has packed inside the upcoming Narzo 50i.

Design and Display

As for the design, the Narzo 50i has a dual-tone finish like the previous Narzo 30A. The bottom two-thirds of the rear panel is covered with textured diagonal stripes while the upper part has a clean finish. Moreover, the rear panel features a rectangular camera bump along with the ‘Narzo’ logo at the bottom of the setup. 

Similarly, at the front, Narzo 50i flaunts a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a maximum brightness of 400 nits.  

Performance

Realme Narzo 50i runs on Android 11 based on Realme Go UI. Realme has not given any clear information about the chipset that will be used in the Narzo 50i. Nevertheless, evaluating other specs, we can expect the device to feature Unisoc SC9863A. As for the graphics, the device features IMG8322 GPU. The device will be available in two different configurations- 2GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB.

Camera

At the rear panel, the device features an 8MP primary sensor with a LED flash. The rear camera can shoot up to 1080 pixels @ 30fps. The camera is arranged in a square module. At the front, the device houses an 8MP selfie shooter inside the waterdrop notch.

Battery and Other Features 

The Narzo 50i is packed with a massive 5000mAh battery. Even though the device does not support any fast charging, you can charge other devices with it by using the reverse charging feature. The device runs on Andorid 11 with Realme UI GO on top. We get support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 along with GPS. The device still charges via the micro USB port.

Realme Narzo 50i- Price in Nepal and Availability

Realme Narzo 50i will go on sale in India starting from October 7 alongside Realme Narzo 50A. The device is priced at INR 7,499 and INR 8,799 for 2/32GB and 4/64GB configurations. So, we can expect the price of Realme 50i to start from NPR 12,000 if it enters the Nepalese market.
