Today, Realme Nepal launched two of its mid-range smartphone in Nepal from their 7 series of devices. In our previous article, we took a closer look at the Realme 7i. Now, let’s see what Realme 7 has to offer as it has a better SoC, display, and much more while comparing with Realme 7i.
Design & Display
Realme 7 has a polycarbonate body with matt finish back. At the back, we get a quad-camera setup and the Realme branding at the bottom. While at the front, we have a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz of refresh rate and is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. Here, we also get a front camera inside the punch hole, at the top left corner. The device has a fingerprint sensor on the power button and weighs around 196.5gm with its 500mAh battery.
Optics
On the camera side, Realme 7 offers a 64 MP f/1.8 Primary shooter with a quad-camera setup. This a Sony sensor and is superior to the one found on Realme 7i. Along with that, we also get an 8 MP f/2.3, 119Ëš ultra-wide camera. Here too we get a 2 MP f/2.4 macro shooter and similar depth sensor. This camera setup can record video up to 4K at 30fps and has a special filter for Night mode photography. Whereas at the front, we get a 16MP f/2.1 selfie shooter. With this, we get features like AI to face beauty, Portrait selfie, HDR, and much more.
Performance & Battery
For the performance, Realme 7 packs the gaming-oriented MediaTek Helio G95. It is an Octa-core, mid-range SoC with 2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. While the Mali-G76 MC4 is handling the GPU duties. This is a promising SoC for mid-range devices and has a good combination of performance and efficiency.
Along with all this, Realme 7 also packs a 5000mAh battery with 30W Dart charging and runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top.
Pricing and Availability
In Nepal Realme 7 is priced at Rs.35,990 for 8GB+128GB variant. As of now, this is the only variant of Realme 7 launched in Nepal. The device will be available for purchase via offline and online retailers from the 18th of November. At this price point device competes with the likes of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy M31.
