One of the most anticipated and popular series from Realme is their number series. Finally, after 2 and half months of its launch in India Realme has released two of its devices from Realme 7 series today in Nepal. Among them, one is the Realme 7 whereas, the second one is the Realme 7i. In this, article we will be taking a closer look at the Realme 7i. Let’s see what the device has to offer and can it can compete with Redmi Note 9 Pro, at under the 30K price segment.
Design & Display
On the design front, Realme 7i comes with a plastic body and a glossy back with a capacitive fingerprint scanner. At the back, we also have a quad-camera setup and Realme branding on the bottom left corner. At the front, we get a 6.5 inches HD+ display with a 90Hz of refresh rate. The selfie camera is located at the top left corner inside a punch hole. Despite having a 5000mAh battery, the device weighs just around 188g.
Optics
In Realme 7i, we get a quad-camera setup at the back. Here the primary shooter is a 64 MP f/1.8 sensor with PDAF and along with that, we get an 8 MP f/2.3 ultra-wide lens. While the rest of the two are 2 MP f/2.4 each, depth and macro shooter. This camera setup can shoot video upto 1080P at 30fps and supports all fancy features like Night filter, UIS Max video stabilization, Super nightscape, and cinema mode. At the front, we get a 16 MP f/2.1 selfie shooter that too is capable of 1080P videos, AI beauty, and portrait selfie.
Performance & Battery
Under the hood, Realme 7i is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662. It is an octa-core SoC with 4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver cores. Here, the GPU duties are handled by Adreno 610. With this, we also get 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage and 8GB of RAM. At this price point, we get devices that offer a better SoC than the Realme 7i but, Realme 7 has something in its sleeves like a 90Hz display and much more.
All this is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support up to 18W fast charging via the TYPE C port. Realme 7i runs on Android 10 out of the box with Realme UI on top.
Pricing and Availability
Realme 7i has been launched in Nepal at Rs.29,990/- for an 8GB+128GB variant. As of now, this is the only variant of the device, launched in Nepal. The device will be available for purchase via offline and online retailers from the 18th of November.
