Realme 8 Vs. Mi 11 Lite- Overview

Design and Display

Right up front, Realme 8 has 6.4 inches Super AMOLED screen with 1000 nits brightness that shines brighter than the 6.55 inches AMOLED screen of Mi 11 Lite.

However, the screen of Mi 11 Lite is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is built with the IP53 rating that makes the Mi 11 Lite dust and splash resistant. Unfortunately, there is no such feature in the Realme 8.

As for the design, both the smartphones have a plastic build with a punch hole at the top left of the display that houses the front camera. Also, both the smartphone has its company logo at the left bottom of the rear panel. However, Realme 8 has a rectangular-shaped setup for its quad camera and flash whereas Mi 11 Lite has a square-shaped setup.

Furthermore, you get a 3.5mm jack on Realme 8 which is not available on Mi 11 Lite. Nevertheless, Mi 11 Lite backs up with its slimmer design and lightweight.

Camera and Software

Talking about the camera, both the smartphone have 64 MP primary rear camera. However, the major difference is that Realme 8 is packed with a quad-camera setup whereas Mi 11 Lite comes with a Triple camera setup at the rear.

Realme 8 comprises 64 MP, f/1.8 primary shooter along with 8MP, f/2.3 ultrawide lens, 2MP, f/2.4 macro shooter, and 2MP, f/2.4 depth lens.

Mi 11 Lite, on the other hand, packs with a 64MP, f/1.8 primary shooter along with an 8MP, f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and a 5MP, f/2.4 macro lens. If you are photogenic and want to capture more vivid memories, then Realme 8 can be the better option.

Moving on to the software, both smartphones run on Android 11 with Realme 8 using its Realme UI 2.0 and Mi 11 Lite using its MIUI 12.

Performance

As for the performance of the smartphones, Mi 11 Lite with its Qualcomm SM7150 Snapdragon 732G and Adreno 618 GPU can be considered a little bit better than Realme 8. Mi 11 Lite is available in multiple variants globally; however, in Nepal, it is only available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Realme 8, on the other hand, is powered by a rather old Helio G95 that is a bit less powerful in terms of performance than Snapdragon 732G. Nevertheless, the 8GB RAM can cover up for the lackluster. Mali-G76 MC4 covers the GPU duties.

Both the devices can handle day-to-day activities and mid-tier gaming efficiently.

Battery

Realme 8 is packed with a 5000 mAh non-removable battery along with 30W fast charging support. With the fast charging feature, the phone can charge up to 50% in just 26 mins, as per the advertisements.
