Realme 9 5G launched in India with a triple camera setup and 90Hz refresh rate

Realme just had its launch event where it unveiled its two new devices under its 9 series. Among the two devices, we will be talking about Realme 9 5G in this article. Likewise, it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate screen. Here, without any further delay, we will be talking about the specs and features of Realme 9 5G along with the expected Realme 9 5G price in Nepal.

Design and display:

Realme 9 5G is featured with 6.5 inches IPS LCD screen along with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The device also features a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Likewise, the screen features a peak brightness of 600 nits. 

Talking about the design of Realme 9 5G, it features a triple camera setup that comes in a rectangular-shaped design. There is a standard Realme logo placed at the bottom of the back panel. At the front, there is a single selfie camera that comes in a punch-hole design. Moreover, as seen in the pictures, I personally found the bottom bezels quite thick. Further, the device weighs 188g and comes with a thickness of 8.5mm.

Performance:

Talking about the performance, Realme 9 5G is featured with MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor that is built under 6nm architecture. The 6nm chipset is featured with an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0 GHz. Whereas, the graphics of the device is handled by Mali-G57 MC2. Here, the device features an operating system of Android 11 along with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. You can get the device with storage variants of 64/4GB RAM and 128/6GB RAM.

Camera:

Moving on to the camera, the Realme 9 5G is featured with a triple camera setup where the main camera is 48 MP, f/1.8 aperture. Supporting the main camera, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro lens and a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor. The main camera can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.

At the front, there is a 16 MP, f/2.1 aperture single selfie camera that can record videos up to 1080p@30fps.

Other features:

The Realme 9 5G is featured with a 5000 mAh battery along with fast charging support of 18W. You get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with other sensors like an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and a compass.

Realme 9 5G is now official in India with a price tag of INR 14999 for the 4/64GB variant and INR 17999 for the 6/128GB storage variant. We can expect the device to arrive in the Nepali market later. And after its launch in the Nepali market, we can expect the device to cost Rs 24199 for the base variant.
