Realme has launched its new device Realme C25Y in Nepal that is under budget. The device features specs that are quite similar to other budget devices like Samsung Galaxy F22. As we know, Samsung Galaxy F22 was our best pick for the title of “best budget smartphone 2021”. Here, in this article, we will be comparing Realme C25Y with Samsung Galaxy F22 and see if it’s better than the best budget phone or not.

Design and display:

Here, the design of both devices is almost the same as, both feature a watermark display at the front whereas, there is a square-shaped camera box at the back. However, the Galaxy has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner whereas, Realme C25Y has it at the back. Samsung Galaxy F22 is heavier and thicker than the Realme C25Y.

Talking about the display, Samsung Galaxy F22 clearly takes the lead as it is featured with a Super AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. Whereas, the Realme C25Y only features an IPS LCD. In addition, both devices feature a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. 

 F22 has a clear win as the Super AMOLED display offers a higher quality display with better color saturation than the IPS LCD of Realme C25Y. Additionally, with a 90Hz refresh rate, users can get smoother gaming and user experience using Galaxy F22.

Performance:

Talking about the performance, both the device shows almost the same performance in daily usages. The Samsung Galaxy F22 is featured with Mediatek Helio G80 and the Realme C25Y is featured with Unisoc T610. based on papers, that is the AnTuTu scores, Mediatek Helio G80 shows better scores of 221963 whereas, Unisoc T610 showed the score of 175079.

Galaxy F22 runs on One UI 3.1 by Samsung based on Android 11 which allows user to customize their smartphones to some extent. Realme C25Y, on contrary, runs on Realme UI R by Realme based on Android 11 core OS. 

Camera:

Moving on to the camera, Realme C25Y is featured with a triple camera setup whereas, the Samsung Galaxy F22 features a Quad camera setup. There is a 50MP f/1.8 aperture main camera on the Realme C25Y whereas, the F22 features a 48 MP, f/1.8 aperture main camera. Likewise, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro lens and 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor on the Realme C25Y. There is an 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture ultra-wide camera with an angle view of 123˚ on the Galaxy F22. completing the quad-camera setup, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro and depth sensor on the F22. Here, you might just get the same quality of photos from both devices.

At the front, the Realme C25Y features an 8 MP, f/2.0 aperture single selfie camera whereas, Galaxy F22 features a 13 MP, f/2.2 aperture single selfie camera in a watermark design.

Battery:

Talking about the Battery, Galaxy F22 features a massive 6000mAh battery with fast charging support of 15W. Realme C25Y, on contrary, packs a 5000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging. So if you want a device with more battery life under budget then Samsung Galaxy F22 is the best option.
