Realme Teases P1 and P1 Pro: What to Expect from the New India-Exclusive Smartphone Lineup

Realme has recently stirred anticipation in the Indian smartphone market by unveiling its exclusive P-series lineup, set to introduce two new devices: the Realme P1 and P1 Pro. Scheduled for release on April 15th at noon local time, the company has been teasing key features and designs of these smartphones through various channels. Realme’s P1 Pro is being highlighted as the “Best Curved Display Under INR 20K,” featuring a stunning 120Hz curved AMOLED screen with a centered punch-hole selfie camera. This display boasts Pro-XDR support and Rainwater Touch technology for an enhanced user experience. Powering the P1 Pro is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which Realme claims to be the “Best Snapdragon Chipset Under INR 20K.” To keep the phone running, it comes with a sizable 5,000 mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. The device will be available in attractive color options such as Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue, with an added IP65 rating for durability.

Realme P1 and P1 Pro

On the other hand, the Realme P1 focuses on delivering exceptional value with its “Fastest Chipset Under INR 15K” tagline, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. While it lacks the curved edges of the Pro model, the P1 sports a flat 120Hz AMOLED screen with an impressive brightness of 2,000 nits. It also features Rainwater Touch technology and an under-display fingerprint scanner for convenience.

Although the exact battery capacity remains undisclosed, the P1 will support 45W fast charging for quick power-ups. Its camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, and the device will be available in Phoenix Red and Peacock Green color variants. Additionally, the P1 boasts an IP54 rating for enhanced durability.
