Recently, MediaTek has unveiled their first 6nm chipsets, Dimensity 1200 and 1100 chipsets. Both the chipsets have the Cortex-A78 core. Dimensity 1200 is a performer with a Cortex-A78 core clocking at 3.00 GHz. And just after the Dimensity 1200 has been unveiled, Realme announced it to be the first smartphone brand with the chipset to build dual flagships portfolio in 2021, bringing users a superior 5G all-round experience.

Dimensity 1200Â
Now MediaTek Dimensity has launched its first 6nm Dimensity 1200 flagship 5G chipset, which is much powerful and power-efficient than the predecessors. MediaTek’s generation chipsets are 22% faster in CPU performance and have 25% better power efficiency than the previous generations. The new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 also has stepped up in AI multimedia, especially in imaging and gaming, creating more possibilities for realme’s new flagship. The Octa-core CPU in Dimensity 1200 has a 1+3+4 configuration with an A78 core clocking at 3.0GHz with three A78 cores at 2.60GHz and four A55 cores clocking at 2.0GHz.

Realme and MediaTek Dimensity Chipsets
Realme also has a history of launching great phones with Dimensity chipsets with a wealth of experience in chip optimization and adaptation. Previously realme had launched the realme X7 Pro the flagship Dimensity 1000+ chipset with excellent performance. realme had featured the phone with a trendy design, high-quality screen, and 65W flash charging making it an all-around flagship.
Like the Founder/CEO/President Sky Li has said, realme has been working closely with MediaTek to launch 5G smartphones. Not just Dimensity 1200, the Last November Realme also was the first smartphone company to launch a phone with Dimensity 800U. Realme had launched the Realme 7 5GÂ with Dimensity 800U, which contributed to the popularization of 5G smartphones.
To give users a richer and more diversified experience, realme Vice President and President of Global Marketing Chase Xu said that realme would build the dual-platform and dual-flagship high-end products strategy in 2021.
