Red Magic 7S Pro and 7S Specifications

Overview

The Red Magic smartphone was popular since the launch of the Red Magic 6S Pro. While the Red Magic 7 series had launched with snapdragon 8 gen 1. Whereas now the Red magic 7 has launched two series 7S and 7S Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets. Furthermore, the Red magic 7S is available only in 2 colors. Whereas the Red magic 7S Pro is available in 4 colors.

Built

First of all, talking about the Red magic gaming smartphones. Both phones will feature a glass front, glass back, and aluminum frame. Where the Red magic 7S Pro will be slightly bigger and heavier than the Red magic 7S. furthermore, we can find the famous built-in on both of the devices.

Display

Whereas the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro both feature the same display. That means both phones will feature the same 6.8 inches AMOLED with a 10-bit panel. With a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels with DC dimming features. The two smartphones get a difference in their refresh rates. Where the red magic 7S gets a refresh rate of 165Hz with a 720 Hz touch sampling rate. Whereas the Red magic 7S Pro has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 960 Hz touch sampling.

Camera

Furthermore on the camera section the Red magic 7S and 7S Pro. Both feature the same camera setup. With a 64 MP main camera with an f1.8 and 26mm wide sensor. likewise, it has an 8MP and 2MP secondary camera. which is capable of capturing 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at 60 fps.

Whereas the 7S Pro features an under-display camera with an 8MP wide camera. While the 7S gets the same 8MP camera though it doesn’t have an under-display camera.

The Red Magic 7S and 7S pro both gaming phones feature the latest Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chipset. Which is built under a 4nm architecture. With an octa-core CPU that’s capable of up to 3.19 GHz clock speed. While the phone gets an Adreno 730 GPU.

The Red Magic 7S only gets a RAM option of up to 16Gb. Whereas the Red Magic 7S Pro has up to 18GB of RAM options. Moreover, we can use of similar UFS 3.1 storage with up to 512GB for Red Magic 7S and up to 1Tb for Red Magic 7S Pro.

Both Red magic 7S and 7S Pro run on an android 12 with a Redmagic 5.5 theme on the device.

Battery

The Red Magic 7S Pro packs a large 5000 mAh battery with 135W fast charging support. While Red magic claim to charge the phone to 100% in 15 mins. Whereas coming on to the Red Magic 7S to pack a 4500 mAh battery with a 120W charger.

The Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro are up for pre-order from 11 July 2022. And will start its sales on 15th July 2022. Talking about the price of the Red Magic 7S starts from CNY 4000 for the 8 /128GB model. Whereas the Red Magic 7S Pro starts at CNY 5,200 for 12/256GB options. Furthermore, we expect the Red Magic 7S to be priced at NPR 84,000 for 8 /128GB and NPR 1,08,000 for 12/256GB.
