Both the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 and Samsung Galaxy F22 are priced at NPR 20,499 for the 4/64GB model and NPR 23,999 for the 6/128GB variant. Design and Display
Both devices come with a plastic back along with the plastic frame. Despite packing the same sized battery, Redmi 10 Prime 2022 is lighter that the Galaxy F22 as it weighs 192g over the 203g Galaxy F22. One thing to notice is that the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 comes with a P2i coating making it dust/splash resistant while there is no official P2i/IP protection on the Galaxy F22.
The Redmi 10 Prime 2022 is a 6.5-inch LCD display and the Samsung Galaxy F22 packs a smaller 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel. Both displays support up to 90Hz refresh rate but the screen resolution of the Samsung Galaxy F22 is only HD+ while the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 gets a superior Full HD+ resolution. As per Samsung’s press release, Galaxy F22 comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection while the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 got the Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Camera
Moving to the cameras, you get a quad-camera setup on both devices. The main camera on the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 has a 50MP sensor while the Galaxy F22 got a 48MP sensor. The second lens on both devices is an 8MP ultrawide lens that has an f/2.2 aperture. At last, both phones pack a couple of 2MP macro and depth cameras.
Upfront, the Galaxy F22 packs a better 13MP selfie camera over the 8MP sensor of the Redmi 10 Prime 2022. However, you get a larger aperture on the Redmi 10 Prime 2022. Talking about videography, both devices can shoot up to 1080p resolution videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.
Performance and Software
Powering the Redmi 10 Prime 2022 is the MediaTek Helio G88 and the Galaxy F22 is the Helio G80. Both chipsets are based on 12nm architecture and come with an octa-core CPU with 2Ghz of peak frequency. Although both chipsets have similar specifications, you can expect the Helio G88 to perform better as it has a 5 percent higher GPU frequency.
Both devices are available with 4/6GB RAM combined with 64/128GB internal storage. The latter can be expanded on both devices using a MicroSD card. However, the Galaxy F22 has a dedicated slot for a MicroSD card but in the Redmi 10 Prime 2022, you have to sacrifice a SIM slot. Moreover, Redmi 10 Prime 2022 has an additional 2GB of virtual RAM which is missing on the Galaxy F22.
