Redmi already has few 5G capable devices under its sleeve. Let it be the flagship Redmi K30 Pro 5G, mid-range Redmi K30 5G, or a cheaper option Redmi K30i 5G. Now today we got yet another mid-range device from Redmi with 5G capabilities. After all the leaks, rumors, and speculation Redmi 10X and 10X Pro finally launched in China.

The base variant of 10X is the cheapest 5G phone available in the market. This was a much-awaited device as it is the first Redmi device to use the DIMENSITY lineup of the new MediaTek chipset. Along with these devices we also got Redmi 10X 4G powered by MediaTek Helio G85.
Redmi already launched a mid-range device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G with 5G so why is this device so anticipated. It’s because of the Dimensity SoC. This offering from MediaTek is going to be a lot cheaper form Qualcomm hence resulting in 5G devices in consumers’ hands at lower prices. All of this is backed up by a 4,520mAh battery on both the devices. Redmi 10X supports fast-charging up to 22.5W while the Pro supports 33W fast charging.
Optics
The camera is a department where we see slight differences in the Pro and regular variants. Here, the 10X comes with a triple camera setup at the back. The primary camera is a 48MPÂ Sony sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, and with that we also get an 8MP ultra-wide camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. While at the front we have a 16MP selfie shooter.
Talking about the Pro variant, it comes with a quad-camera setup with the primary shooter being a 48MP again with OIS along with an 8MP zoom lens with 30X zooming capability. While the next two lenses are 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro. In the Pro variant we get a 20MP selfie shooter.

Software & Features:
Both the devices are running on the latest MIUI 12 on top of Android 10.
This is the first Xiaomi device to come with MIUI 12 out of the box. Both the devices come with MIUI dark mode 2. While we also get NFC in the Pro variant.

All three devices are available in four different color options: Purple, Gold, White & Blue. Redmi 10X 4G is available to purchase right away while the Redmi 10X will go on sale from 1st June and Pro variant from the 5th of June in China.
