Xiaomi Nepal has finally announced its latest entry-level smartphone, Redmi 9A for the Nepali market. The main highlight features of Redmi 9A are the new MediaTek Helio G25 processor and a large 6.53inches IPS display. Redmi 9A also features LPDDR4X RAM, which is not common in the entry-level smartphone segment.Â
Redmi 9A specs:
Redmi 9A comes with an IPS LCD dot drop notch display measuring 6.53 inches. The display supports 1600×720p resolution with an aspect ratio of 20:9.Â
The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz. It runs on Android 10 OS customized with MIUI 11 on the top. The available configuration is 2GB LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage which is expandable via a microSDXC.
The rear side is mounted with 13MP main camera, Led flash. However, there’s no fingerprint reader on this phone. Video can be taken in 1080p at the rate of 30 and 60fps. The front camera is of 5MP with an aperture of f/2.2.
A huge battery of 5000mAh is backing this phone which uses a micro-USB 2.0 port to plug 10W charger.Â
Price and Availability of Redmi 9A:
Redmi 9A is priced at Rs.11,499 for a 2+32GB variant and will be available from August 2 on both online and offline markets. Color options for Redmi 9A are Granite Gray, Peacock green, and sky blue.Â
