Xiaomi Nepal has finally announced highly anticipated Redmi K20 series smartphones in Nepal. Both devices feature the same design with few changes on internal hardware. Let’s dive into the key features of Redmi K20 and Redmi 20 Pro.
Redmi K20:
Redmi K20 comes with 6.39 inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It’s front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 whereas chassis is made out of aluminium. Redmi K20 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Octa-core processor with 6GB DDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. It features triple rear camera setup, 48MP(main)+8MP(2X Zoom)+13MP(Ultra-wide). On the front, there is a 20MP pop-up selfie camera with LED notification. Redmi K20 is running on Android v9.0 pie with MIUI skin on top. Other feature includes Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, Under display fingerprint sensor and 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Redmi K20 Pro:
Redmi K20 Pro features same 6.39inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on front and back. It comes with the same camera setup on the front and back like on Redmi K20, 48MP+8MP+13MP triple rear camera and 20MP pop-up selfie camera. It is also running on Android v9.0 pie with MIUI Skin and is backed up same 4000mAh battery. But Redmi K20 Pro is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-core CPU, comes with 8GB DDR4X RAM, 256GB internal storage and supports 27W fast charging.
Pricing and availability:
Redmi K20 is priced at Rs.39,999 for 6+128GB variant whereas Redmi K20 Pro is priced at Rs.49,999 for 8+256GB variant. Both phones come with Carbon Black, Flame Red, & Glacier Blue colour option and will be available from 11 August at offline retail stores and daraz.com.np. There is no information on whether other variants of Redmi K20 and Redmi 20 Pro will be available in Nepal or not at the moment but again Xiaomi Nepal surprised us with the pricing of these two new smartphones. With this aggressive pricing, Xiaomi Nepal has again proved that their product comes with honest pricing and offers great value for the money.
