After the recent launch of Mi 11 in China, Xiaomi is launching another device with the new flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC. Redmi K40 will also be among the first few devices to launch with the new flagship chipset. Also, Kudos to China for getting their tech game ahead, with most Chinese brands launching phones with the new chipset early-on. Redmi K40 Overview
Starting with the performance itself, Just like the recent Mi 11, the Redmi K40 series also will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC. With the Snapdragon 888, the Redmi K40 will be among the first few phones to get the SoC flagship.
The phone might have an AMOLED screen on the display aspect, considering it was used on the Redmi K30 series. But based on rumors, the phone will have a 120Hz refresh rate and uses an E4 Samsung OLED panel, as we saw on Xiaomi Mi 11. Either way, Lu Weibing has leaked about the phone is probably the “expensive straight screen,” suggesting the phone will definitely be priced close to the world of curve screens. And Redmi K40 isn’t the only flagship with a flat-screen Since the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will also have a flat-screen except for the Ultra. But the K40 series might come with a 144Hz refresh rate IPS LCD like the Redmi K30S, Mi 10T, and the Mi 10T Pro, but it turns out the phone shall be out in only a 120Hz display.
With the AMOLED panel being on the phone, the phone shall also use an under-display fingerprint sensor instead of a rear-mounted or side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The next thing Redmi’s General manager talked about the phone having a larger battery capacity than just 4000 mAh. And according to the previous leaks, the Redmi K40 will also have a 33W fast charging support.
Redmi K40 Price in Nepal
The Redmi K40 will be launched on 25 February in China. With a flagship chipset featured, tech enthusiasts are eager to get their hands on the device. Redmi’s General manager Lu Weibing has suggested that the phone’s Pricing will start at 2999 yuan, which is just above the pricing we saw in Redmi K30s couple of months ago. Converting the price, the Redmi K40 price in Nepal will start at Rs. 54,450, which is excellent for a device having a flagship chipset. Obviously, we might not get the Redmi K40 at the same price but expect a little bump in the Redmi K40 series pricing here in Nepal.
