Redmi has already launched the Redmi K50 Gaming edition back in February 2022. Yet again, the company has unveiled its two devices Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro with some cool flagship features. Both devices featured different processing chipsets however, the Pro version obviously has a better processor. Design and display:
The fresh Redmi K50 Pro featured 6.67 inches OLED display also, with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The device also features a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Likewise, the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus at the front. The back panel might also have the same protection as the front.
Talking about the design, the Redmi K50 Pro is featured with a triple camera setup that comes in a rectangular-shaped box. There is a standard logo of “Redmi” at the bottom side of the back panel. Moreover, the back panel is shiny and also looks attractive. At the front, there is a single selfie camera at the top center in a punch-hole design. Looking at the pictures, the bezels also look thin at the bottom which is quite an impressive job done by the company. The device is quite heavy as it weights 201g also, comes with a thickness of 8.5mm.
Performance:
Talking about its performance, Redmi K50 Pro is featured with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor that is built under 4nm architecture. The 4nm chipset features an octa-core processor with one Cortex-X2 clocked at 3.05 GHz, three Cortex-A710 clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 clocked at 1.80 GHz. Whereas, the graphics of the device is handled by Mali-G710 MC10. Moving on to its software, the device is featured with an Android 12 operating system with MIUI 13 skin on top. You will get storage variants of 128/8GB RAM, 256/8GB RAM, 256/12GB RAM, and 512/12GB RAM.
Camera:
Moving on to the camera part, Redmi K50 Pro features a triple camera setup where the main camera is 108MP wide-angle lens that will also support OIS. Supporting the main camera, there is an 8MP ultrawide camera also, it will support 119˚ angle view. Lastly, completing the setup, there is a 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture macro lens. The main camera can record videos up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, and 720p@960fps.
At the front, there is a 20 MP single selfie lens that will support video recording up to 1080p@30/120fps.
Other features:
The Redmi K50 Pro is featured with a large 5000 mAh battery with support of 120W fast charging support. You get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that is placed with the power button. You also get sensors like an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and a color spectrum.

Redmi K50 Pro price and availability:
As we know, the Redmi K50 Pro has now made its first debut in China. The starting price of this device is CNY 2,999 for the 8/128GB storage variant. Likewise, for the 8/256GB and 12/512GB storage variants, the price tag is CNY 3,299 and CNY 3,999 respectively. We expect this device to arrive in the Nepali market later this year. If launched, the expected Redmi K50 Pro price in Nepal is Rs 57299.
