Xiaomi launching the Redmi K60 series soon on December 27 

Finally, after numerous leaks on the Redmi K60 series, Xiaomi is launching the K60 series on December 27. This was officially confirmed on the Xiaomi Weibo page. The series will not include the Gaming version. According to the rumors, the series will expect Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. 

Upcoming Redmi K60 series phone 

The Redmi K60 series will debut to have Xiaomi Redmi K 60 phone with a triple camera on the back, including a periscope shooter, which will be a first for the Redmi brand. Brand manager William Lu revealed one of the phones, likely the vanilla Redmi K60 will have a Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Redmi K60 will feature a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main camera. It will have a 64MP main camera plus an 8MP ultra-wide module and a 2MP macro cam with a 16MP selfie cam.

The Pro models might have 50 megapixels of the primary camera. Similarly, the K60 Pro will feature a QHD+ 120Hz display. The third model Redmi K60 has a 48MP main camera (with OIS). 

The K60 and K60 pro models might be coming with 120W charging support but the other two models will feature only 67W charging. All of these models are supposed to feature Android 12 and MIUI 13 OS. 

Also, The K60 pro from the series will rebrand as Poco F5 in global markets. There hasn’t been any official confirmation from the company. But we will have to check the upcoming releases on the upcoming releases. 

The company in the official Redmi Weibo account states will ‘focus on ultra-high performance’. The lineup is dubbed as ‘performance series’.
