Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Overview
Design and Display
Design-wise, Xiaomi has made some little changes to the devices. As all the devices have the same build structure with similar dimensions, it might be tricky to differentiate between the three devices on the Note 11 series. The device features a triple camera setup at the top left of the glass rear panel same as the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. At the bottom, there’s a ‘Redmi’ logo as well. Even though the device has the same thickness of 8.3mm like the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G; however, the Pro+ is slightly lighter than the Note 11 Pro. You can choose your set from 3 different color variants- Mysterious Black, Forest Green, and Timeless Purple.
Moving on to the display, the Note 11 Pro+ 5G flaunts 6.67 inches of AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and HDR10. The display, with its Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, can survive a few minor accidents with ease. And, Xiaomi has a refresh rate of 120Hz, again, the same as the Pro model. With the refresh rate, you can scroll through your phone and play games with much smoothness.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G has the same processor and software as the Redmi Note 11 Pro. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G which will facilitate you with a CPU performance, gaming experience, and optimized batter. The GPU will be handled by the Mali-G68 MC4. Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will be available in 3 different variants- 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 8/256GB. Additionally, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ boots on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
Talking about the battery, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G has a downgraded battery compared to its siblings. The device packs in a 4500mAh battery with a 120W of fast charging support. The 120W of fast charging may sound exciting and intimidating at the same time. However, the huge fast charging support of the 120W compensates for the downgrade in the battery. Furthermore, Xiaomi claims that the 120W fast charging charger can juice up the device up to 100% in just 15 minutes.
