With the latest launch of the Samsung Galaxy F13 at the price of NPR.23,999, the device is priced similarly to the Redmi Note 11 from Xiaomi Nepal. Design & Display

Both the device feature a plastic built, with a plastic body. Talking about Redmi Note 11 we have Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the Redmi Note 11 with a matt plastic finish at the back. The device is IP53 rated for dust and water resistance. The Samsung Galaxy F13 has a typical Samsung mid-ranger look with vertical camera housing at the rear. Here, Redmi features a stereo speaker and IP rating which are missing on the Samsung.

While at the front, Redmi is a clear winner with its 6.43 inches of 90Hz AMOLED display. It’s an FHD+ panel with a maximum brightness of up to 1000nits. On the other hand, Galaxy F13 has a 6.6 inches IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Performance & Software

Redmi Note 11 packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. This is a 6nm Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver) SoC with Adreno 610 GPU along with 4/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. While the Samsung Galaxy F13 is really underpowered for this price as it houses, Exynos 850 chipset with 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores and Mali-G52 GPU with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Redmi Note 11 runs on Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top, while Samsung has an upper hand here as the F13 runs on Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 on top.

Camera

Talking about the camera, Redmi Note 11 features a quad-camera setup at the back with a 50MP f/1.8 being the primary camera. Along with that, we have an 8MP f/2.2 Ultra Wide Camera with 118˚ field-of-view. While the last two are 2MP each depth and macro. On the Samsung side, you get a Triple rear camera setup at the back with a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. While at the front we get a 16MP f/2.4 shooter on Note 11 and an 8MP f/2.2 on the Samsung Galaxy F13.

Battery & Other Features

Battery capacity is where, Samsung has an upper hand with its 6000mAh capacity, but charges only at 15W. While the Redmi Note 11 has packed a 5000mAh cell and supports 33W charging. On the sensor and connectivity front, both the devices feature 4G, Dual-Band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. Though Xiaomi has an additional IR blaster on the top, which might come in handy.
