Xiaomi has launched another announcement, on Weibo, and seems like we can finally see the launch of the Redmi note 12 series. Xiaomi has set to launch the new series right after a year of the Redmi note 11 series. There is not much official info about the smartphones, but the most probable will include Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

According to the post, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 series will showcase ‘two major technologies, including a world-first. Rumors point out that the Note 12 Pro phones from the note 12 series are equipped with the latest Mediatek chipset. Similarly, the phone will also be updated with the Dimensity 1080 which was announced earlier this month as an improvement over the Dimensity 920.
Similarly, “the world first” will probably be Xiaomi’s new fast charging technology, with 210 W charging support. Recently, The Redmi note 12 series went under the 3C certification under three model numbers 22101316C, 22101316UCP, and 22101316UC. We can probably assume the three models are Redmi note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 pro+. The 3C listing of the Note 12 Pro+ revealed that it may ship with a new charger that has a model number MDY-13-EU and supports a maximum charging speed of 20VDC / 10.5A (210W).
There hasn’t been much revealed about the specifications, of these smartphones. Some leaks reveal that the new smartphones will be powered by the latest Mediatek chipset, with the 1080 chipset. One of the biggest updates might be the 200 MP camera that might probably be updated on the smartphone.
