Previously, Redmi Note 8 series was one of the most successful Note devices by Xiaomi not only in Nepal but also all over the world. Redmi Note 9 Pro might also bring this type of sales for Xiaomi. In Nepal also it has been launched as competitive pricing. Today the device was announced with pricing through the official Facebook Page of Xiaomi Nepal. Without any further delay let’s see what Xiaomi has to offer with their new Mid-ranger.
Redmi Note 9 Pro launched in Nepal is an Indian variant. We get a 6GB+128GB storage variant of the device for nowhere in Nepal. Here’s a quick look at what the device has to offer.
Design & Display
 It has an all-glass body with Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and back. With a quad-camera setup at the back and a punch-hole display at the front. While we get a fingerprint sensor mounted on the power button. Xiaomi has here gone with asymmetric design. Here we get a 6.67 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 60Hz of refresh rate. The device has a +84% of screen to body ratio.
Power & Performance
 Xiaomi has gone with one of the latest offerings from Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G.Its an Octa-core Chip with (2×2.3 GHz Kryo 465 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 465 Silver). The chip is based on 8nm finfet technology which makes it powerful and battery efficient at the same time. While the GPU duties are handled by Adreno 618.

Here in Nepal, we get a 6GB+128GB variant with UFS 2.1 storage. All this is powered by a mammoth 5020mAh battery. It can be charged quickly with an 18W fast charging with the charger available in the box.
Optics
Xiaomi has been producing quality camera setup at the mid-range segment for quite some time. Here too they have a Quad Camera setup at the back. We get a 48MP f/1.8 Primary Camera with PDAF. While the next lens here is an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera for those wide-angle shots. While the next two are the lens where we get a bit of disappointment. We get a 5MP f/2.4 macro lens. It would be great if Xiaomi would have given a Telephoto lens. The last one is a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor for shallow depth of field in photos and videos.
At the front, we get a 16MP f/2.48 shooter. It’s the same which was used in Mi Note 10 lite, which was launched a week ago in Nepal.
Software & Features
 Mi 10 comes with MIUI 11 on top of Android 10. The device is on top of the list to get MIUI 12 update. It also has Xiaomi’s signature IR blaster at the top. It comes with USB Type C v2.1, P2i splash-proof body, and Bluetooth v5.

 Xiaomi has currently launched only the 6GB+128GB variant of Redmi Note 9 Pro here in Nepal at the price of Rs.29,999. We are also getting only one color option, which is Interstellar Black. At this price point, the only strong competitor for Redmi Note 9 Pro is its own predecessor, Redmi Note 8 Pro. According to Xiaomi Nepal, Redmi Note 9 Pro will be available shortly across 1800+ Mi offline stores all over the country and online through Daraz and sastodeal.
