Samsung Galaxy S23 series leaks have been hitting back-to-back and are set to release in the upcoming Feb 1. And now these flagship smartphones are expected to be featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2 as corning has confirmed. Let’s get into more details.
S23 Series featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2
Gorilla Glass Victus 2 was released back in December of 2022 as a successor to the Gorilla Glass Victus. The enhanced glass comes with upgraded protection. So its no doubt that the upcoming flagship will come feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 maintains a balance of drop performance and scratch resistance focused on concrete. While our homes have a safer space with carpeted floors that don’t cause many risks the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is made for rougher concrete. The Victus 2, can survive one meter (hip height) drops onto concrete and 2m of height on asphalt.
