We recently had a rumor regarding the S23 series that the upcoming flagships will debut on Feb 1 this year. The date is official through a revealing poster on a Samsung website without any official website. The lineup will involve Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Let’s get into the details.
Galaxy S23 Date reveals
So the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch date was revealed through the Samsung Columbia website. Besides that, the poster includes the signature triple camera module found on the recent Ultra variants of the Samsung flagships. Now the page is removed so it seems the leak was an accident.

Highlights of the S23 series:
Recently, all three smartphones from the lineup have passed through 3C certification in China. The Galaxy S23 (SM-S9110) and Galaxy S23+ (SM-S9160) are both certified with the same EP-TA800 charger. In the certification, the S23 Ultra also adds supports a maximum of 25W charging (11V @ 2.25A).

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature an improved telephoto camera sensor and zoom mechanism. The Galaxy S23 ultra is supposedly featuring a 200MP camera with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. While all three smartphones from the family is supporting the same 12-megapixel camera.
About the designs, there aren’t many changes. The main three camera circle ‘islands’ seem to protrude ever so slightly more in the S23 Ultra, while the other two protrude visibly less. This has made the front look flatter.
Galaxy S22 Plus will be a fraction taller and broad than S22 Plus with a 6.6-inch display. The S23 Plus is also rumored to have a 4700mAh battery.
