Samsung A52s 5G vs Xiaomi 12 Lite
Built and Display
First talking about the design of the device, it gets a similar boxy design with a punch hole in the front of the display. Moreover, on the built of the Samsung A52s, 5G gets a Glass front protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 while on the back the smartphone has a plastic body. Whereas the Xiaomi 12 lite feature glass on both side of the device with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front.
Furthermore, both smartphone features almost the same size display with 6.5 inches screen on the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G whereas the Xiaomi 12 lite get a 6.55 inches display. Moreover, we can find the same 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate on both devices.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 12 lite comes with a 12-bit display, Dolby Vision, HDR+, and a peak brightness of 950 nits which all help to enhance the viewing experience of the users. Whereas in the Samsung Galaxy A52s we lack all these features.
Performance
The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G and Xiaomi 12 Lite both pack an identical Snapdragon 778G 5G (6nm) chipset with a max clock speed of up to 2.4Ghz which is paired with Adreno 642L GPU. Moreover, both device runs on an Andriod 12 with One UI 4.1 skin on top for the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G while Xiaomi 12 Lite gets an MIUI 13 skin on top.
Furthermore talking about the software of the device Samsung has promised 4 years of major updates to the device which means Samsung Galaxy A52s will get Android 14 as its final update. Whereas the Xiaomi 12 Lite gets 3 years of major updates that could eventually get Andriod 15 as it is almost a year newer than the Samsung Galaxy A52s.
Additionally, we can find the same configuration of RAM and internal memory which has a 6/8RAM option and 128GB internal storage in these devices. Additionally the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G supports an expandable memory card while Xiaomi 12 lite doesn’t support an expandable memory option but features a UFS 2.2 storage.
Camera
These two smartphones differentiate from each other in the camera department. Where the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G features a quad camera setup with a 64MP primary wide camera including OIS while we can find a secondary 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP Macro, and 5 MP depth camera.
