Samsung is expanding its “Circle to Search” feature to more of its phones. After initially launching on high-end models like the Galaxy S24 and recent foldables, it’s now available on mid-range Galaxy A series phones and the budget-friendly Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets. This update, starting this month, will make the feature accessible to a wider range of Samsung users.

Samsung Expands Availability for Circle to Search:
Circle to Search, a feature that lets you quickly search for on-screen content by tapping or drawing a circle around it, is now reaching more Samsung devices. Originally introduced on premium models such as the Galaxy S24 and the latest foldable phones, it’s now being added to mid-range models like the Galaxy A55, A54, A35, and A34. It’s also coming to the budget-friendly Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ tablets.
How It Works:
To use Circle to Search, simply press and hold the home button or navigation bar gesture, or tap and select the content you want to search for. This action will initiate a web search, and the results will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can further refine your search by adding text to the search bar.
Supported Devices:
Currently, Circle to Search is available on the following devices:
- Samsung Galaxy: S24, S23, S22, S21 series; Z Fold 5, 4, 3; Z Flip 5, 4, 3; Tab S9 series
- Google Pixel: 8, 7, 6 series; 6A, 7A; Pixel Fold; Pixel Tablet
Conclusion:
This feature is a handy tool for quickly exploring content without switching apps or typing. If your device doesn’t support Circle to Search, you can still use Google Assistant’s voice search or other built-in search features.
