Samsung is currently working on the new Exynos 2200 chipset for its future flagship devices. The new chipset scored an impressive 8134 points in the 3DMark’s Wild Life test. This is quite impressive as the Snapdragon 888 scored around 5000-6000 score on the test. This shows that the new Exynos 2200 is 40% faster than the Snapdragon 888.

More importantly, the score scored by Exynos might be higher than the new Snapdragon chipset, the Snapdragon 895, making Exynos a better processor than the Snapdragon. The new Samsung Flagship models will surely be powerful as they will be featured with the newest Exynos 2200.

Exynos gave quite tough competition to Snapdragon as for this year. Exynos 2100 was featured in all Samsung’s flagship devices; it also showed excellent performance, giving tough competition to Snapdragon 888.

Both Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 gave tough competition to each other as their performance was similar. But with the launch of Exynos 2200, it might beat Snapdragon 895, as said on papers. However, we have to wait till the practical comparison between Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 895.

The upcoming flagship devices will be featuring Exynos 2200 that is rumored to be built under 4nm architecture featuring an octa-core processor. The upcoming flagship model of the Samsung S22 series is likely to use the Exynos 2200 processor. A leakster suggested that A15 will be the best performer in terms of CPU, followed by Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 895 at the third. Whereas Exynos 2200 will bring out the best performance in the GPU aspect, followed by the A15 chip and Snapdragon 895 again at the third.
