Samsung Galaxy A12 launching soon in Nepal with Helio P35, 48MP camera and 5000mAh battery

Samsung Nepal is launching a successor to their last year’s Galaxy A11. The phone is being launched in Nepal probably within this week or by the start of next week. Let’s head into the article to discuss the specs, features and Samsung Galaxy A12 price in Nepal.

Design and Display

The mid-ranger Galaxy A12 features a 6.5 inch TFT LCD panel with an Infinity V display instead of a punch-hole we saw in the predecessors. The display supports resolution up to 720p and has an 82.1% screen-to-body ratio. The bezels of the display are fairly noticeable on the sides, with a huge chin on the bottom.

Samsung Galaxy A12 is built in a plastic frame with a plastic back and glass front. The phone’s dimensions are 164 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm, and the phone is quite heavy with a weight of 205 grams. The phone has a quad-camera setup with Samsung branding on the rear panel, whereas the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side.

Camera 

The phone comes in a quad-camera setup with a 48MP sensor as a primary camera, a huge upgrade compared to the 13MP primary camera from the A11. And the other three cameras include a 5MP ultra-wide lens and two 2MP lenses for macro and depth sensors.

Moving on to the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera. Both the front cameras can shoot videos up to 1080p at 30fps.

Performance and Battery

Samsung has fueled the Galaxy A12 with the same two-year-old Helio P35 we saw in many devices recently, including Oppo A15s and vivo Y12s. The Helio P35 comes with an octa-core processor with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and the other four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Whereas the PowerVR GE8320 GPU handles the graphics. The processor will take you through your usual tasks, but dont expect gaming performance from this processor.

Moving on to the endurance, the phone will have a 5000mAh battery that will definitely last you all day, and the phone also supports fast charging of 15W.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Price in Nepal

Samsung Nepal might launch the Galaxy A12 probably next week with a potential launch on the 8th of March. The device was launched in India with a price tag of INR.12,949 for the 4+64GB variant and INR.13,949 for the 4+128GB variant. We can expect the phone to launch in a price range of above Rs.20,000.
