Samsung Nepal has launched yet another budget mid-range Smartphone in Nepal, Galaxy A21s. This year we have already seen various devices under A series by Samsung. Galaxy A Series has always been targeted toward the offline market audience. We don’t really see aggressive pricing from Samsung here, as their M series. The device was launched few weeks ago in our neighborhood, India.
Design & Optics
Samsung Galaxy A21s looks like just another midrange from Samsung in 2020. It has an all-glass front with a punch hole at the top left corner. At the back, we will be getting a glossy plastic back with a quad-camera setup and a rear fingerprint scanner.
Talking about those cameras, It had a 48MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture coupled with an 8MP f/2.0 ultrawide angle lens. The rest of the two are a 2MP each depth sensor and a microlens. While the selfie shooter is a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture.
While we are at the front let’s talk about that display. It’s a TFT LCD Screen with HD+ resolution. So this time it’s not an AMOLED display.
Power & Performance
While under the hood we have some changes comparing it with its predecessor Galaxy A20s, instead of 14nm Snapdragon 450 we have a new Samsung SoC here. It’s an 8nm Exynos 805. In the SoC ranking, it may just be me a few steps ahead 450. Regular day-to-day tasks are going to be similar but due to its 8nm manufacturing process, it must be far more efficient.
Earlier on Galaxy A20 & Galaxy A20s, we got a great battery life even with a 4000mAh battery and a 14nm chip, which means with the A21s it’s going to be better this time.
Galaxy A21s Price & Availability
Samsung Galaxy A21s is priced at Rs.24,999 for a 4+64GB variant. It is now available at Samsung partnered retail outlets all across the nation with Black, Blue, and White color options.

This device is not for power users. You should keep in mind that you can get a better performing device under a similar price bracket. But if you are someone who is familiar with Samsung’s One UI, Samsung brand name and looking for a budget device with great battery life and a full-screen display (though it’s a TFT panel) along with a decent camera. Then you may consider this device.
