Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy A55 5G smartphone, identified by the model number SM-A5560, has received 3C certification, shedding light on some key features. The device supports 25W charging, a slightly higher speed than its predecessor, the Galaxy A54. Whereas now the rendered image of the device surfaces online. A few leaks on Samsung Galaxy A55 have been popping up online previously the leaks were about the improvement in the charging speed to 25W along with other details on the chipset and more. This time the leak reveals the rendered images of the Samsung Galaxy A55 by a source onleaks.
According to the rendered image, we can see the Samsung Galaxy A55 middle frame will get even flatter like iPhones which is also expected to be seen on all Samsung smartphones of 2024. Whereas the right-side frame gets a slight curve at the volume & power buttons.
Moreover, as per sources, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is expected to get a metal frame a the device comes with antenna lines. Likewise, at the bottom, we can find the USB-C port, microphone, and speaker while the top gets a SIM card slot.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A55 screen measures 6.5 inches featuring Full HD+ resolutions and 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore compared to its upcoming predecessor Galaxy A54 we can find a slight increase in screen size whereas specifications remain the same.

According to earlier reports, the Galaxy A55 5G is expected to run on Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor. This chipset boasts an octa-core architecture, featuring four efficiency cores clocked at 2.05GHz and four performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz. Additionally, the device will be equipped with Samsung’s Xclipse 530 GPU, likely built on AMD’s RDNA 2 graphics architecture.
For those unfamiliar, Xclipse is Samsung’s brand for GPUs based on AMD’s graphics architecture. While the high-end Xclipse 9xx series, leveraging AMD’s RDNA3 architecture, is used in premium GPUs like the Exynos 2200 and 2400, the mid-range Xclipse 5xx series, potentially based on RDNA 2, is anticipated for devices like the Galaxy A55 5G.
Notably, Samsung has decided not to include a charger in the box, aligning with current trends. Unfortunately, the 3C certification listing from the Chinese regulator does not disclose additional specifications apart from confirming its 5G capability.
