Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at the Samsung Event on August 10, 2022. Now months later, Samsung has enrolled in its first software event with improved stability and reliability. Stability for first software update:
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro software update with firmware version R510XXU0AVI7 is a 6MB download. As mentioned, the features aren’t getting any updates but bring stability and reliability improvements to the earbuds. In order to update the software, Galaxy Buds2 Pro users can download this update on their buds via the Galaxy Wearable app installed on their connected devices. Also, both earbuds must be connected for the update.Â

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro features a 10 mm driver in each bud with 24-bit Hifi sound and 360 audio. Furthermore, the earbuds have two modes Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient sound. The overall 616mAh battery of the Buds2 Pro can be charged via USB-C in 75 minutes. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro battery life is rated for 8 hours but time can be enlarged up to 29 hours charging through its earbuds charging case. The device is compatible with any smartphone featuring android 8.0 or higher.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will be available in Graphite, Bora Purple, and White colors. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has IPX7 certification which means it can withstand up to one hour in one meter of water. The earbuds come in reduced weight and lack the glossy look of their predecessor.
