Xiaomi Nepal has just launched the Redmi 10 in Nepal. It is competing against the Samsung Galaxy F22. Both devices are similarly priced and have some differences in their specs. In this article, we will be comparing the specs of the Samsung Galaxy F22 with the Redmi 10.

Samsung Galaxy F22 vs Redmi 10 Comparison:
Design and Display
Both Galaxy F22 and Redmi 10 have a plastic back along with a plastic back. At the back, there is a square camera bump with a rounded corner on both devices. But the Galaxy F22 more stylish side-mounted fingerprint scanner while Xiaomi has gone with the traditional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Redmi 10. Samsung also takes advantage of the screen protection as the Galaxy F22 feature superior Gorilla Glass 5 over the Gorilla Glass 3 on the Redmi 10.
Redmi 10 has a larger 6.71-inch display while the F22 has a slightly smaller 6.4-inch panel. Both panels have HD+ resolution and feature a notch at the top. The Galaxy F22 uses an AMOLED display and supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate. At the same time, Redmi 10 packs an IPS LCD panel and only supports a 60Hz refresh rate. Also, Galaxy F22 has support for HDR content but the Redmi 10 misses out.
Performance and Software
Things are different in the performance department. Both phone packs processors from two different manufacturers. The Redmi 10 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset while the Galaxy F22 has a MediaTek Helio G80 soc. Both chipsets feature an eight-core CPU but the Snapdarogn 680 brings a higher clock speed of 2.4Ghz (over 2.0Ghz of Helio G80).
Likewise, Snapdragon 680 is built under 6nm architecture while the Helio G80 is manufactured under 12nm architecture. That means the Redmi 10 will have better battery life. Also, Redmi 10 brings slightly better CPU and gaming performance as well.
Both devices come with Android 11 out of the box. Galaxy F22 runs on One UI 3.1 and the Redmi 10 boot on MIUI 13. One UI 3.1 has less bloatware and is easier to use the MIUI 13. Samsung has also promised 2 major Android updates and three years of security updates on the F22. At the same time, there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi regarding the future software updates on the Redmi 10.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy F22 sports a quad-camera setup at the back. We get two fewer lenses on the Redmi 10. Redmi 10 has a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor. Similarly, the Galaxy F22 has a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a pair of 2MP macro and depth cameras.
Samsung takes the advantage on the front as well. Galaxy F22 includes a 13MP selfie camera while the Redmi 10 packs a 5MP sensor. Talking about the video recording capabilities, both devices can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps from both rear and front cameras.
Battery and Charging
Both handsets have a 6000mAh battery. Redmi 10 supports slightly faster 18W charging over 15W charging on the F22. However, Samsung ships the F22 with a 15W charger inside the box but we only get a 10W charger inside the box of Redmi 10.

Samsung Galaxy F22 is available in Nepal at NPR 20,499 for the 4/64GB model and NPR 23,999 for the 6/128GB variant. Redmi 10 is more affordable as it is priced at NPR 18,999 for the 4/64GB model and NPR 21,999 for the 6/128GB model.
