Samsung recently launched its new device under ‘F’series Samsung Galaxy F22. This is a budget device and is already available in Nepal for pre-booking. The device comes with many features and is somewhat similar to Redmi Note 10 from Xiaomi. Though the Samsung F22 is cheaper than the Note 10. Samsung Galaxy F22 Vs. Redmi Note 10- Overview
Design and Display
Talking about the design, Redmi Note 10 probably has a better design as it feels smooth with the surface as it is built with Gorilla Glass 3 at the front and with a plastic back and frame. Note 10 features a quad-camera setup at the back in a rectangle box. The Samsung Galaxy F22 is not that impressive compared to Redmi Note 10. Galaxy F22 is built with glass at the front with a plastic frame and a plastic back.
Moving on, the Samsung Galaxy probably takes over the display as it supports a 90Hz refresh rate panel with a Super AMOLED display. Although the resolution is lower than Redmi Note 10 with 720 x 1600 pixels, Redmi Note 10 comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Camera and software
Talking about the cameras, both Samsung Galaxy F22 and Redmi Note 10 features similar cameras. Both devices come with a quad-camera setup with the main camera of 48MP, f/1.8 aperture. Supporting the main camera, the Samsung Galaxy F22 features an ultrawide camera of 8MP, f/2.2 aperture with an angle view of 123˚. Whereas, Redmi Note 10 supports an ultrawide camera of 8 MP, f/2.2 aperture with an angle view of 118˚. Furthermore, both devices feature a 2MP, f/2.4 aperture macro and a 2MP, f/2.4 aperture depth sensor.
Talking about the front, Samsung Galaxy F22 comes with a 13MP, f/2.2 aperture single selfie camera whereas, Redmi Note 10 comes with a 13MP, f/2.5 aperture single selfie camera.
Moving on, the Samsung F22 is featured with better software compared to Redmi Note 10 as the F22 features Android 11, One UI Core 3.1 operating system. Whereas Redmi Note 10 features Android 11, MIUI 12 operating systems. Here, F22 wins over the software department with the One UI Core 3.1, which provides up to 3 years of updates with a better experience.
Performance and battery
Redmi Note 10 might have a better performance than the Samsung Galaxy F22 as Note 10 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor built under 11nm architecture. The 11nm chipset is featured with an octa-core processor with twoKryo 460 Gold clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 460 Silver clocked at 1.7 GHz. Compared to F22’s processor, Mediatek Helio G80, built under 12nm architecture, the Snapdragon 678 shows better performance.
As for the battery, Samsung Galaxy F22 wins over Redmi Note 10 as F22 is powered by a 6000mAh battery that also features 15W fast charging, whereas Redmi Note 10 is powered by a 5000mAh battery featuring 33W fast charging support.
