Samsung Galaxy M62 launching soon in Nepal as a rebranded F62

Samsung is doing well with their ‘M’ series of mid-range devices. Last year, devices like the Galaxy M31 and the recently launched Galaxy M51 did well. Now, according to our sources, we might see Galaxy M62 as the next device in the segment. Looking at the leaks and rumors, M62 might be somewhat similar to the recently launched Galaxy F62 in India. 

According to our sources, we have come to know that Samsung is planning to launch Samsung Galaxy M62 as the global variant of the device with similar specs. Samsung Galaxy M62 might also have the Exynos 9825, a massive battery, and a similar AMOLED display. We don’t have any confirmation on the launch date, but it might be soon in the coming months in Nepal.

Samsung Galaxy M62 – Specification Overview

As the Samsung Galaxy M62 will be more like the recently launched F62, it will have similar specs. Here we will get a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Panel with FHD+ resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio. While under the hood it is powered by two years old flagship Exynos 9825. It was the same SoC that was used on the Note 10 series of devices. It’s an Octa-core chip with 2×2.73 GHz Exynos M4 & 2×2.40 GHz Cortex-A75 & 4×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. While for GPU we have Mali-G76 MP12. 

Regarding the device, for the Camera’s we might be getting a similar Quad camera setup with a 64MP f/1.8 primary, 12MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide, along with a 5MP depth sensor and macro lens. While at the front, we get a 32MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. 

All this is backed up by a 7000mAh battery which can be charged up quickly by a 25W charger with the adapter provided in the box.

As we already told you, the device is yet to be launched. Still, as it is coming with similar sets of specs and features as the Samsung Galaxy F62 and looking at the Indian pricing of the F62, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy M62 to be priced similarly at Rs.38,399 for the 6+128GB variant and Rs.41,599 for the 8+128GB variant.
