Samsung, the South Korean smartphone maker has announced 7 new products on yesterday’s live event. Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy tab S7 series, Galaxy Z fold 2, Galaxy watch3, Galaxy buds were introduced in Galaxy unpacked event 2020. While in 2019, Galaxy note 10 series, Galaxy Book S, and Watch Active2 were introduced in galaxy unpacked event. Here are the few things to enlighten you about the products.
Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra:
Under Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 ultra are introduced yet. Common sharing in specs of these smartphones are 5G connectivity with S pen and supports fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Both the device will have protection from newly introduced corning gorilla glass victus running Android 10 OS and have IP68 water resistance.
Talking about galaxy Note 20 ultra, the device will be powered by snapdragon 865+ processor which comes with 12GB RAM on a variant of 256GB and 512GB storage which is expandable. It has 6.9 inches OLED display that supports QHD+ resolution of 1440 pixels with 120Hz of display refresh rate. The battery capacity is 4500mAh and a triple camera on the rear side with 108MP main camera is available.
Galaxy Note 20 is powered by snapdragon 865+ chipset but will be available with low storage of just 128GB. The display is of size 6.7 inches that support Full HD+ resolution with 60Hz of display refresh rate. The main camera on the rear side is just 12MP while the battery capacity is 4300mAh.
Galaxy Note 20 starts at price $999.99 while galaxy Note 20 ultra starts at price $1299.99 for 256GB variant and $1499.99 for 512GB variant.
Galaxy Tab S and Galaxy Tab S+:
These are the flagship tablets of Samsung. Both the devices are powered by a snapdragon 865+ processor having two configurations of 6GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. Both tablets come with the same camera specs where the rear camera has the main camera of 13MP and the front camera is of 5MP.
Tab S7 comes with 11 inches LPTS TFT LCD with WQXGA resolution of 1600pixels having a display refresh rate of 120Hz. The fingerprint sensor is on the side and the battery capacity is 8000mAh.
Tab S7+ has 12.4 inches S-AMOLED display with a WQXGA+ resolution of 1752 pixels having a display refresh rate of 120Hz. The fingerprint sensor is in-display and the battery capacity is 10,090Hz.
The starting price of tab S7 is $649.99 and tab S7+ is $849.99.
Galaxy Z fold 2:
As the name reveals, Galaxy Z fold 2 is a foldable device with a new design and large screen. It has 6.2 inches inner screen having a dynamic AMOLED display of 120Hz display refresh rate. The external screen is of 7.6 inches S-AMOLED display of 60Hz. Same as Galaxy Note 20, the rear side bump houses triple camera with LED flash and the punch hole cam is available on the right side of the front display.
Mystic Black and Mystic bronze are the availability in colors. It is just a few reveals while the launch of the device may be set somewhere in September.
Galaxy buds:
Galaxy buds are bean-shaped buds with Active noise cancellation and detachable wingtips to fit perfectly. They come with a bass duct and 3 microphones. They run for six hours in a single charge with 60mAh in each earphone but can run up to 21 hours with the charging case of 472mAh which uses type C charger and QI wireless charger. It is connected via Bluetooth 5.0. They also have touch panels for controls and proximity sensors to wear detection. They are IPX2 certified for dust and water resistance.
They are available in three colors: Mystic Black, Mystic White, and Mystic bronze. They will be available from August 6 in some regions at the price of $169.
Galaxy Watch3:
Galaxy Watch3 is a fashionable smartwatch that has advanced health technology. The body of the watch is made up of titanium (option), stainless steel, and high-quality leather. Two sizes of watches are available: 41mm (1.2 inches) and 45mm (1.4inches). The watch has the protection of gorilla glass DX and resolutions of 360×360 pixels. The watch is powered by Exynos 9110 dual-core and is available in a 1GB RAM+8GB internal storage variant.
The watch monitors and measures blood oxygen tracking saturation in the blood. Blood pressure and ECG can also be measured by the watch. Other features available in the watch are fall detection, VO2 max, sleep management, running analysis. This watch is IP68 rated and 5 ATM rated for waterproof. It has Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. 41mm has a 247mAh battery and 45mm has a 340mAh battery.
It costs $399.99 for 41mm without LTE and $449.99 for 41mm with LTE. It costs $429.99 for 41mm without LTE and $479.99 for 41mm with LTE. Color availability for 41mm is Mystic Bronze and Mystic silver whereas 45mm comes with Mystic Black and Mystic Silver.
