Samsung has inaugurated a landmark television factory in Nawalparasi, Nepal in collaboration with its long-standing partner in Nepal, Him Electronics. This is the first instance of a multinational company setting up an electronics manufacturing facility in Nepal that will have a major influence on the local economy.
Moreover, the new manufacturing facility will transform the electronic space in the country with local enterprises, new skills, innovation, and jobs. Futhermore it will help to increase efficiency and productivity creating more employment and developing a stronger electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the country.
Futhermore Samsung’s new television factory was inaugurated by Shri Ramesh Rijal Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Commerce, and Supplies, and Mr. JB Park, President & CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia said that Samsung had a long-standing relationship with the people of Nepal and this new television factory with their partners Him Electronics will further deepen their bond with Nepal and underline the work they are doing to strengthen the local industry and provide employment opportunities to people there. It will also facilitate the development of skilled manpower.
