Samsung One UI 6.1 Update and Galaxy AI Features:
Following recent rumors suggesting that certain Galaxy smartphones might miss out on the latest AI functionalities, Samsung’s confirmation of the One UI 6.1 update for select devices has brought relief to many users. However, there’s a catch. While 2021 flagship models like the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will indeed receive the update, they’ll only have access to a limited set of AI features. These features include Google Circle Search and a functionality known as Chat Assist, which allows users to adjust the tone and style of their messages through the Samsung Keyboard.
On the other hand, 2022 flagship models such as the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Tab S8 series are set to enjoy a broader range of Galaxy AI features. However, they’ll miss out on one notable feature: Instant Slow-mo. This feature, which allows users to slow down videos by long-pressing the screen, won’t be available on these devices due to hardware limitations of the Exynos and Snapdragon chips used in them.
