In 2024, Samsung‘s flagship devices, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra S24 Plus, S24, Flip6, and Fold6, are set to receive a special version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, according to reliable source Ice Universe. The standout feature of this chip is its Adreno 750 GPU, which will operate at a rapid 1,000 MHz. To put this into perspective, the previous Galaxy S23 series used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, which had an Adreno 740 GPU with a peak speed of 719 MHz. This represents a 28% increase in clock speed, promising improved graphics performance.
It’s worth noting that Qualcomm has yet to officially confirm the clock speed of the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 GPU, leaving some uncertainty about whether the Galaxy-exclusive version will bring enhancements to the CPU or focus solely on the GPU.
