Samsung’s “Over the Horizon” ringtone gets a new remake for the upcoming Galaxy S23 series

Samsung S23 series is going to be unveiled later today which consists of the three flagship lineups Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. And just like that Samsung has followed its annual tradition of introducing its iconic ‘Over the Horizon‘ ringtone for its flagship Galaxy S series of smartphones. Let’s get into more details.

Samsung’s Over the Horizon S23 ringtone

Samsung released it’s new “Over the Horizon” ringtone S23 edition crafted by American music artist of Korean descent DJ Yaeji. DJ Yaeji is a known electronic artist in the modern music scene. Samsung has released the retro remake song along with a fun music video. This year heme was also released to “celebrate positivity and optimism in an evolving world”.

About Galaxy S23 series: 

Galaxy S23 specs 

The Galaxy S23 series comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080) AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+, has a pixel density of 425 PPI, and is covered in a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

As for cameras, The S23 will feature a triple-camera setup with a 50 Mp camera (f/1.8, 23 mm focal length, 85-degree FOV, dual-pixel PDAF, OIS). The rest of the camera includes a 10 MP telephoto lens (f/ 3.4, 36-degree FOV, 69 mm focal length, 3x optical zoom) and a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens (f/ 2.2, 120-degree FOV, 13 mm focal length). At the front, we get a 12 MP selfie camera.

Other features include twin Dolby Atmos speakers, IP68 water resistance, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and Wireless Powershare. The S23 will have a storage capacity of 128 to 256 GB. The S23 will have a 3900 mAh battery, 25 Watt charging, and 10-watt wireless. 

Galaxy S23 + specs 

Both Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will be available in four colors black, cotton, violet, and green. The S23+ will feature a larger 6.6-inch screen with the rest specs similar to the S23.

The cameras will also be similar to the S23 with a 50 Mp rear camera a 10 MP telephoto lens and a 12 Mp ultra-wide lens. The 12 MP selfie camera can record films at high to 4K 60 frames per second and photographs in HDR10+.

The rest of the features are similar to the S23, both smartphones will come with Android 13 and One UI 5.1. The S23+ will also be packed with a 4700 mAh battery with 45 watts of charging and 10 watts of wireless charging.

Galaxy S23 ultra specs 

The S23 ultra comes with a 6.8-inch QHD+ (3,088 x 1,440) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The brightness can peak up to 1,750 nits similar to its predecessor. The Flagship will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and has a wide range of storage options including 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512/1,024 GB of storage.

The newly introduced 200 MP sensor is named ISOCELL HP2 for the S23 ultra. This comes supported by a 12 MP (f/1.4, 120-degree FOV) ultra-wide angle lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens (f/2.4, 3x optical zoom, OIS), and a second 10 MP periscope telephoto lens (f/4.9, 10x optical zoom, OIS. The Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 12 MP selfie camera with HDR10+ capabilities.

The flagship will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired and 10 W wireless charging. Other features of the Galaxy S23 Ultra include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, UWB, and NFC.
