Once again sony has come to beat the market, with its newly released powerful competitor from the alpha series: The sony alpha 7R V. Alpha 7R V, stated to be “Evolved imaging intelligence” comes with a wholly different new AI focus system “ Real-Time Recognition”. This is the highlight of the mirrorless camera while offering 693 focus points for a 79% sensor coverage. It seems as if sony has invested in the camera wholeheartedly at its AF and the company claims that the new AF will be included in other camera models as well. Design components:
The sony alpha 7RV dimensions are Approx. 131.3 x 96.9 x 82.4 mm/72.3 form grip to monitor and weighs up to 723 grams including battery and memory card included.
Also one of the major upgrades of the camera is its brand-new flip screen as well. The alpha 7RV comes with a 4-axis multi-angle LCD screen that can tilt and flip as well. The screen measures 3.2 inches and users can tilt up and down at the same time flip it out and even turn it to face the camera for self-recording.
Camera sensor and lens:
The alpha 7RV comes with the same sensor, 61MP backside-illuminated Exmor R CMOS variant as its predecessor. The main difference is the A7R V’s sensor features Sony’s new BionZ XR processing engine. This brings out more details and color quality than the previous alpha 7RIV.
The image sensor brings out new features such as a new auto-exposure system that immediately detects skin tones even in low lights. According to Sony, this new exposure system is 20% more accurate than its predecessor’s version.
Camera performance:
Sony A7RV features Sony’s new BionZ XR processing engine and can shoot up to 8k at 24 fps, and 4K/60fps in convincing, accurate color and “overwhelming detail”, thanks to features such as Pixel Shift Multi Shooting. The camera is able to shoot photos at 10fps in bursts delivering 583 compressed RAW image files and as many as 1000 JPEGs.
The camera’s JPEG image shooting capacity can be adjusted between three size options 61MP, 26MP, and for the particularly conservative, 15MP.
Moving on to the camera’s low-light performance, the shooter provides ranges from 100 to 32,000. But, can be increased up to ISO 102,400 for still shooting. So the camera proves to be quite a performer in low light.

The main highlight of the camera is its new AI Focus system that competes with other brands with sony. The new AI upgrades with 693 focus points for a 79% sensor coverage as mentioned above. The camera can focus ad distinguish between human bodies, faces, animals, and birds as well as other subjects.
The AI AF automatically features lock optimal focus on a human subject even if they twirl or spin around in front of its lens by keeping machine-learning-informed track of where their eyes are supposed to be.

The sony A7R V comes with slots for dual CFexpress Type A cards at a time and is a USB C-type terminal camera. It supports 10Gb/s data-transfer speeds and features other connectivity options as well.
