Recently we have seen a great number of devices under reasonable pricing in Nepal too. One such device is Redmi 9A. Redmi 9A was recently launched in Nepal by Xiaomi Nepal. The device was launched in Nepal at the base price of 11,499. This entry-level device packs some great features for its price. Xiaomi has always been known for providing value for money products and Redmi 9A also follows the same trend. Let’s see 5 of those features.
Redmi 9A – Top 5 Features
1) Immersive 6.53″ HD+ display
Redmi 9A has a 6.53’’ large display. Though the display is not so sharp at a price tag of 12K, we get a large display with nice colors and viewing angles. It has a dewdrop notch at the top with the screen to body ratio of 88.4% with Pixel density of 260ppi. It has a max brightness of 400 nits with 16 million colors.
2) AI Rear & Front Camera
At the rear side, we get a 13MP single shooter. It is better to have a single shooter than having gimmicky macro sensors. The shooter here packs features like HDR, Panorama, and kaleidoscope and portraits shots.  Not only the images, but the device can also shoot 1080P video at 30fps and 60fps. The devices in a similar price point max out at 30fps but Redmi 9A can go up to 60fps with PDAF. While the camera at the front also packs AI features such as Face recognition, Portrait selfies, Palm shutter, etc with video recording at 1080P at 30fps.
3) Massive Battery
Redmi 9A packs a massive 5000mAh battery. This large battery coupled up with the power-efficient 12nm SoC and an HD+ display provides a serious 2-day battery life with the Redmi 9A. As the company claims this battery can last up to 168 hours of listening to music or 38 hours of calling and 19 hours of video playback.
If you compare the device with the competition in the market, they all max out at 3,000mAh capacity. Redmi 9A breaks the nom and provides a large battery with this device at the starting price tag of 11,999. Though we only get 10W charging support with the micro USB port.
4) Performance
Redmi 9A is powered by a newer Helio G25 octa-core CPU. The CPU is clocked at a max frequency of 2.0 GHz with cortex A53. This SoC was able to pull out the Antutu score of over 102,778. It’s a respectable score for an entry-level device. Few years backs we couldn’t even think of having a performance like this in a cheap device like this. Talking about the efficiency of this device, it’s a 12nm SoC with power-efficient A53 cores.
5) Design
Redmi 9A has a texture back with a new design and Redmi branding vertically. Redmi 9A doesn’t look like an entry-level device. Comparing it with any other device at a similar price point we could easily see that Redmi 9A stands out from the Crowd. Also at the front, we get thin bezels with the drop notch display.
Redmi 9A packs all these features even after being affordable for everyone. What are your thoughts about the device, let us know in the comment section below and also follow Gadgets in Nepal across all social media handles to stay updated with everything technical.
