Vivo has debuted its S15 series in China. The series consists of a vanilla S15 and the S15 Pro. Both devices pack different chipsets and there are a few more differences between these two devices. Design and Display
Starting with the display, the Vivo S15 Pro sports a 6.56-inch curved AMOLED display. It comes with a Full HD resolution and supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Its typical touch sampling rate is 300Hz which can boost up to 1000Hz. Likewise, the panel has 1500 nits of peak brightness and features a center-aligned punch hold design for a selfie camera.
The back panel has a big rectangular island and curved edges. Its body measures 158.9 x 73.5 x 8.6 mm and weighs 188g. The fingerprint scanner is placed underneath the front glass. Moreover, it is available in two color options: midsummer (Blue) and Yao Hei (Black).

Talking about the cameras, it includes three cameras on the backside. There is a 50MP main snapper that comes with an f/1.9 aperture, OIS, and PDAF. It is followed by a 12MP 116-degree ultrawide lens that has an f/2.2 aperture.
At last, there is a pair of 2MP depth camera and LED flash. Similarly, it has a 32MP selfie camera with AF and this feature is missing in some high-end phones like iPhone 13 Pro Max. Moreover, it can record up to 4k@30fps from the back camera and only up to 1080p@30fps from the front one.

Powering the Vivo S15 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. The chipset comes with an eight-core CPU that brings up to 2.85Ghz frequency and Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. Its competitors like Realme GT Neo 3 and OnePlus Ace (Custom one) also feature the same SoC. Likewise, it comes with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Here, Vivo has used a bionic heat dissipation system that has a total heat dissipation area of ​​44389mm². According to the company, it can reduce the temperature of the device by 1.0-degree Celcius.
Other Features
The phone packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Vivo claims it to get 70% charged in just 18 minutes with that 80W charger. On the software front, it ships with Android 12 out the box with Origin OS Ocean on top. Furthermore, it features stereo speakers and different sensors like an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum.
