Vivo T1 Overview
Design & Display
Looking at its design, the device has flat edges with a plastic back. On the front, we get a dew-drop notch, which should have been a punch hole. While at the back we have a Triple camera setup, with Vivo branding at the bottom. The device does not have an option of a micro-SD card. Vivo T1 features 6.58 inches of IPS LCD Display with a 120Hz of refresh rate. The display also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate, which will be really helpful for gamers. The display is WideVine L1 certified, so you can enjoy FHD content on OTT platforms.
Performance
Vivo T1 is powered by Qualcommās Snapdragon 690 5G SoC with Adreno 619 GPU. It is an octa-core CPU with clock speeds upto 2.2Ghz. Along with that, we get 4/6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB Internal storage. Looking at its name the SoC sounds like, it’s for a budget device but looking at its performance it stands somewhere between Snapdragon 750G and 765GB. The device is giving out Antutu scores above 400,000. Looking at its initial impressions video, the device seems to manage heating very well with no thermal throttling issues.
Camera
Vivo Phones are generally known for their camera performance. On the Vivo T1, we get a Triple camera setup at the back with 50MP f/1.8 Primary Camera and 2MP f/2.4 each depth and macro shooter. Whereas at the front inside the dew-drop notch we get a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. On paper, it seems a decent setup but definitely lacks the ultra-wide-angle camera.Ā
Battery and Software
Vivo T1 supports a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging and the charger will be provided in the box. The Charging speed could have been better but, they had to do cost-cutting somewhere. Whereas on the Software department, kudos to Vivo as Vivo T1 comes with Android 12 out of the box with Vivoās own Funtouch OS on top.
