WhatsApp now introduces screen sharing in video calls:

This newly added feature from WhatsApp has been in the talks for quite some time. The feature’s development spanned several months, with beta testers receiving access as early as May. Users can engage with it by selecting the Share icon, subsequently opting to share either a particular app or their entire screen. The process is similar to the screen-sharing functionalities in Zoom and Google Meet.

Will this feature be available right away?

Talking about availability, this new feature won’t show up for everyone all at once. They’re taking their time to give it to different people bit by bit. So, don’t be surprised if you don’t see it right away. This new feature will work on Android phones, iPhones, and even on computers with Windows. But it might be a little while before everyone can use it.

Have you used this new feature yet? Do let us know how you feel about its usability down in the comments.
