The case and earbuds boast a convenient, compact design, effortlessly slipping into any pocket. The earbuds showcase a sleek glossy finish and a small stem, complementing the case’s elegant appearance. The case accommodates the digital display to show the charging level.
Upon trying them, I found these earbuds to offer a comfortable and snug fit for my ears, without any concerns. Given their reasonable price, the build quality and robustness of the X-AGE ConvE earbuds are genuinely impressive.
Connections
The X-AGE ConvE play buds Pro employs Bluetooth 5.3 technology for establishing its wireless connections. Fortunately, the connection maintains exceptional stability, with no interruptions or disconnections experienced during my use.
Nonetheless, it’s crucial to highlight that these earbuds only allow connectivity to a single device simultaneously, they do not support multipoint connectivity. Consequently, you’ll have to disconnect from one device before being able to connect to another.

Controls
The TWS is equipped with very captivating and responsive touch controls. These controls are for managing the audio experience easily and switching between different modes that it provides. some of the modes and touch controls are listed below:
- Single tap: to answer/ end the call, to pause or resume the music
- Double Tap: double tapping on the left earbud enables you to switch the previous song and the right earbud to go for the next song.
- Triple Tap: tapping the left earbud three times increases volume while doing the same with the right earbud decreases the volume
- Four-Times Tap: tapping any earbud four times enables you to switch between gaming or music mode.
Along with there are some other features available that can be controlled via smart touch. You can wake up the voice assistant by pressing either earbud for 1.5 seconds. while doing so for 2 seconds will help to switch between transparency/ ANC/ENC/ default mode. During my use, the touch controls were responsive and I couldn’t find any difficulty.
Audio and Mic.
The ConvE Play Buds Pro offers several advanced features to improve the user experience. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) blocks out distractions for better music and calls. My experience with ANC is pretty good. As in the budget range, you don’t expect the ANC to be extraordinary but still, the feature is impressive. The Exclusive Transparent Mode promotes safety outdoors by keeping users aware of their surroundings.
I found the call quality notably impressive overall, especially the noise reduction capabilities through its Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature, which seems to represent a considerable improvement. However, in more challenging environments, a few callers noted some slight voice distortion from my end. It’s worth noting that we tested these conditions in the busy streets.
Battery and Charging
The ConvE Play Buds Pro provided a remarkable battery backup of approximately two weeks during my casual usage. Upon reaching the two-week mark, I needed to recharge the case, which remarkably took only about two hours to charge using my Xiaomi 27W basic charging brick fully. Even with just a brief 5-minute charge, I experienced around 60 to 63 minutes of uninterrupted playback.
