Xiaomi 11T launched with 10-Bit 120Hz Display and Dimensity 1200 5G SoC

Xiaomi never ceases to surprise us with innovations and technologies. Xiaomi introduced its new Xiaomi 11T series featuring a Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 11T Pro, and Xiaomi11 Lite via a live stream on September 15th. Xiaomi has introduced the series with the hashtag #CineMagic that referring to its exquisite Flat AMOLED display. Xiaomi 11T is one of the astounding devices in the upcoming Xiaomi 11T series with a 108MP camera setup that is designed to capture vivid photos, the latest and fastest MediaTek Helio chipset, and  67W fast charging support.

Design and Display

Design

The new Xiaomi 11T looks quite different compared to its predecessor Mi 10T. Xiaomi 11T is 6% slimmer and 14g lighter than its predecessor without compromising on battery. Design-wise, Xiaomi has shifted the front camera from left to center in the new Xiaomi 11T. The rear camera setup, at the rear panel, is also arranged in a discrete manner. The handset flaunts a triple camera setup at the glass rear panel arranged in a vertical rectangular setup. With its IP53 protection, you can carry your phone in rain without any hesitation and fear.

Moreover, the device has a brushed metal finish that is both strong and smooth. The handset will be available in three different exquisite colors- Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, Celestial Blue. Xiaomi has upgraded the design with tapered edges and a quad-curved back. Xiaomi claims that with this advanced design, you can hold your phone for hours without any discomfort.

Display

Xiaomi has revealed the new 11T series with hashtag #CineMagic referring to its admirable display. Moving on to the display, Xiaomi 11T features a 6.67 inches Flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a generous 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 480Hz touch sampling rate. With 1 Billion colors and 1000 peak nits’ brightness, you can enjoy your movies, series, games, and internet surfing in radiant vivid colors. Moreover, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which Corning claims to be the ‘toughest Gorilla glass yet’. So, we can expect the new Xiaomi 11T to survive a few drops and scratches.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 11T is powered by MediaTek MT6893 Dimensity 1200 5G, the latest and fastest 5G chipset of Mediatek, coupled with 8GB RAM. Mi 11T will be available in two different configurations- 128GB and 256GB. The upcoming Xiaomi 11T runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. As for the GPU, it is handled by Mali-G77 MC9.  

As for the battery, Xiaomi 11T packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery along with a 67W fast charging support. Xiaomi claims that with this fast charging support, you can juice up your Xiaomi 11T within 36 minutes. Also, Xiaomi will provide its customers with the 67W wired charger inside the box. 

Camera

One of the major attractions about the new 11T series is its camera which also features a new innovation- the Liquid Lens Camera. With a Liquid lens camera, Xiaomi has combined the telephoto and macro lenses into one reducing the number of cameras improving the camera experience. Other attractions are Magic Zoom that is used for different effects in Hollywood and Audio Zoom with which you can zoom into the sounds along with the video.

Xiaomi 11T flaunts a triple camera setup at the rear panel comprising of a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP telephoto macro lens. With the camera with its exquisite contrast ratio, resolution, and brightness level, you can shoot photos and videos in HDR10+. Additionally, you can shoot videos in 4k resolution. 

At the front, Xiaomi 11T sports a 16MP selfie camera at the front housed inside a punch-hole cutout at the top center of the device.

Xiaomi 11T will be available at the price of €499 for 8GB/128GB configuration and €549 for 8GB/256GB configuration. The device will be soon available for purchase in the market. Also, we can expect the device to arrive in the Nepalese market at the expected price of Xiaomi 11T in Nepal is Rs. 70,000 for 8GB/128GB and Rs.76,000 for 8/256GB.
