So now we have brands like Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Apple selling their flagship devices in Nepal. So, with all this happening, this article would be Xiaomi 12 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro. Here we will be having a specs comparison between both of these devices in a detailed manner.

Design & Display
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a glass sandwich design just like any other flagship in 2022. We get a triple camera setup at the back inside a rectangular camera hump while the front houses a curved display with a punch hole at the center. While the OnePlus has a square camera design at the rear with a logo in the middle and on the front we get a similar curved display with a punch hole. Both the devices have Gorilla Glass Victus protection and weigh almost similar.
At the front, we get 6.73 inches of LTPO AMOLED display on the Xiaomi 12 Pro. It is a 120Hz high refresh-rate 10Bit panel. The display on the Xiaomi 12 Pro supports 1500 nits of maximum brightness and has a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Talking about the OnePlus 10 Pro, here we get 6.7 inches of LTPO 2 AMOLED panel. It’s a 10Bit panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and has 1300 nits Max brightness.
We have seen OnePlus 10 Pro failed miserably in Jerry Rig Everything’s durability test. Both the devices support stereo speakers, here Xiaomi has 4 of them while OnePlus has two. We do not have an IP rating on both devices.
Camera
Devices from both brands are generally not known for their superior camera quality. But looking at the specifications looks like Xiaomi has an edge here. Xiaomi 12 Pro packs a triple camera setup with a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera. The lens here has Dual Pixel PDAF with OIS. The next one is a 50MP f/1.9 telephoto lens which supports PDAF and supports 2X optical zoom. While the last one is also a 50MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 115Ëš field of view. The device can record 8K videos upto 24fps while 4K can go upto 60 fps. While at the front we have a 32 MP, f/2.5 camera with 4K video recording at 60fps.
OnePlus 10 Pro also supports a triple camera setup at the back with 48MP f/1.8 shooter with multi-directional PDAF, Laser AF, OIS, accompanying this is an 8 MP, f/2.4 3.3x optical zoom with PDAF & OIS, and the last one is a 50 MP, f/2.2, 150Ëš field of view ultrawide camera with AF and these are tuned by Hasselblad. Even OnePlus can shoot 8K videos upto 24fps and 4K upto 60 fps. When it comes to the front camera, here also we get a 32MP sensor with a larger f/2.2 aperture but can only record videos upto 1080P at 30fps.
Performance and Software
In the performance depart both the device are more similar than ever. Here on both Xiaomi 12 Pro and OnePlus 10 Pro, we get Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is the best you can currently get in the android department. This is an octa-core SoC with 1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510 CPU cores and Adreno 730 GPU. On the storage front, we get 12GB LPDDR5 RAM on both devices with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
As the specs of both the devices are similar, it really comes to software optimizations to see which device will perform better. Here on the Xiaomi 12 Pro, we get MIUI 13 and the OnePlus comes with its own Oxygen OS 12, while both are running on top of Android 12.
Battery
On the battery department, Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 4600mAh battery with support for freaking 120W Fast charging and supports 50W of wireless charging. While OnePlus on other hand has a 5000mAh cell with 80W fast charging and supports similar 50W wireless charging speeds. We get a charger inside the box of both devices.
