Xiaomi 13 series launched finally with 13 and 13 pro

Xiaomi has finally launched the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in the event today. These devices come as a successor to the Xiaomi 12 series with an upgraded design and camera. The launch unveiled the Xiaomi Buds 4, Watch S2, and MIUI 14 at the event as well. Let’s immediately get into the Xiaomi 13 series launch.

Highlights of the Xiaomi 13 series launch:

Xiaomi 13: 

The Xiaomi 13’s display measures a 6.36″ AMOLED screen and offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG support. 

Likewise, the Xiaomi 13 has a square model with a 50 MP primary sensor along with 10MP OIS-aided camera with a Leica lens, f/2.0 aperture and native 3x zoom. And finally 12 MP ultrawide camera.

The battery is a 4,500 mAh cell supporting 67W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Xiaomi 13 Pro: 

The Xiaomi 13 pro has the same display as its predecessor, with an AMOLED display, an integrated fingerprint scanner, and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The pro model also includes a 120Hz variable refresh rate, 440 x 3200px resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and 1920Hz DC. 

The phone is backed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with LPDDR5X memory and next-generation UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is 4,820 mAh and is paired with Xiaomi’s Surge G1 chip allowing safe 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.  

Finally moving on to the camera, it features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary lens paired with 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP telephoto lenses. Both smartphones feature a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper.
