Xiaomi Civi is adding another member to its series, the Xiaomi Civi 2. The company has revealed on its Weibo channel that the Xiaomi Civi 2 is launching on September 27 at the local time of 2 pm. The Xiaomi CIVI series was introduced last year in China. The female-focused lineup includes the CIVI and CIVI 1S smartphones. As the launch is coming soon, the company is teasing many teaser images, revealing features, and the overlook. Let’s look at what the next-gen smartphone, Xiaomi Civi 2 launch has for the market:

Design and display:
The Xiaomi Civi 2 retains the lightweight design and lovely visual appearance of its predecessor. The Civi 2 also has a so-called Trend Partner in the face of “Hello Kitty” as we can see in the teaser images.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the device measures 7.23mm in thickness and weighs 171 grams. As for the display, the CIVI 2 is said to sport a 120Hz OLED panel offering a Full HD+ resolution and Dolby Vision. It will likely have a curved AMOLED panel just like the existing CIVI models.
Camera:
One of the highlights of the phone is the pill-shaped cutout for two front-facing cameras. This pill will be located at the top center, just like on iPhone14and iPhone 14 pro max. The Xiaomi Civi 2 will be the first Android handset with the pill at the center. The cutout will house dual 32MP cameras. The primary sensor will feature ALD anti-glare coating, f/2.0 aperture, and autofocus support. While the secondary sensor will be equipped with an ultra-wide lens.
The Civi 2 will have a 50MP triple camera on the back. The primary and ultrawide-angle cameras are behind the big circle, while the smaller one, next to the dual LED flash, will likely be a 2MP sensor.
Performance:
The Civi 2 is reportedly set to have powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, which the company is yet to officially confirm. The device will probably be supported by Android 12 with MIUI skin on top.
The Civi 2 is expected to be backed up with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Battery and connectivity:
