Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G Launched: Snapdragon 750G 5G, 108 MP Camera and 120Hz Display

At just 5 days into 2021, Xiaomi has finally unveiled another mid-range beast Mi 10i 5G. The Mi 10i is a rebranded version of their Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G launched in China a couple of months back. After the rebranded Redmi 9 Power launch last month, Xiaomi Mi 10i is being launched today in India. You can expect this device to launch in Nepal after a couple of months. Safe to say, the Mi 10i 5G price in Nepal might be just around the converted price from INR.

Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G Overview

Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G features a 6.67-inch LCD with a 1080p+ resolution featuring a punch-hole design. The display and also the glass black is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Mi 10i 5G has the same display as of the new Poco X3 and the camera setup is also similar.

The main feature attracting the customer is its display supporting 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display is an Intelligent 120Hz AdaptiveSync display with refresh rate fluctuations from 30Hz to 120Hz automatically matching the screen refresh rate with the content frame rate.

Performance is where things get better as The Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G is fueled by a Snapdragon 750G chipset complemented by a 6/8GB RAM. The 750G chipset makes the phone outstand its competitors by a high margin. The 750G 5G chipset wins at both Antutu and Geekbench Benchmark scores. And to upscale the performance keeping the temp at absolute minimum Mi 10i 5G features of the three-dimensional liquid cooling system. The phone uses a UFS 2.2 storage with write booster. 

The phone’s main selling point might be its primary camera with the world’s first third-generation 108 MP camera sensor. Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G sports a Quad camera setup with a 108 MP Samsung HM2 sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro and depth sensor. For the selfie, Mi 10i 5G has a 16MP camera. The phone uses 9-in-1 pixel binning technology, making every click a picture-perfect one.

Talking about endurance, the phone features a 4,820 mAh battery supporting a 33W fast charger, charging the battery from 0 to 100 in just 58 minutes.

Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G Price in Nepal

Xiaomi has recently launched the Mi 10i 5G in India with three variants; 6+64GB. 6+128GB and 8+128GB. The 6+128GB variant has been priced at  INR 20,999, 6+12GB variant has been priced at INR 21,999, and the 8+128GB variant has been priced at  INR 23,999. Looking at the pricing of phones in the past by Xiaomi Nepal, the Mi 10i 5G might be launched in Nepal at the price of under 40k for the 6+128GB variant making it the best phone under 40k in Nepal. We can expect the Mi 10i 5G price in Nepal to be similar to that of Galaxy M51 giving Samsung Nepal a hard hit.
